Welcome to the Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement (CVSE) web site. This internet site provides information about commercial and private vehicle programs. These programs provide general information affecting commercial carriers, vehicle inspection programs, National Safety Code information, and contain various publications and reference materials.

This web site provides information on five programs within CVSE: Commercial Transport, Vehicle Inspection and Standards, National Safety Code, Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance and the Transport of Dangerous Goods.

These programs are delivered through field offices within districts throughout British Columbia and through the Ministry of Transportation’s CVSE Head Office in Victoria.

• Green Light Transportation System (GLTS) - Coming in Spring 2009 - GLTS is an intelligent network of commercial vehicle inspection stations across the province (Highways 1 and 5) allowing commercial vehicles that have been initially checked to be given an automatic bypass at all subsequent Inspection Stations for the next 12 hours. – January 26, 2009
