****************************************** PUBLIC NOTICE No. 12 ****************************************** Pursuant to Section 66 of the Transportation Act the following Load Restrictions will be imposed, on the following Provincial Highways and Roads until further notice:
LOAD RESTRICTIONS within the Thompson Service Area,

All Provincial Numbered Routes, paved or gravel - 100% Legal Axle Loading, except as listed below:
UNRESTRICTED No. 1 - Trans Canada Highway from Monte Creek Interchange west to the Coquihalla Highway No. 5 No. 1 - Trans Canada Highway from Coquihalla Interchange to 12km East of Cache Creek No. 5 Coquihalla Highway from Kamloops to Walloper Interchange No. 5 Yellowhead Highway from Highway 1 in Kamloops north to the District Boundary at McMurphy No. 24 from Highway 5 (Yellowhead) to Service Area Boundary 400m west of Eagle Island Road
All Provincial Side Roads, paved or gravel - 100% Legal Axle Loading except as listed below:
UNRESTRICTED Halston Connector No. 3530 Mount Paul Way No. 3393 Chief Louis Way No. 1150
70% Legal Axle Loading Tranquille Criss Creek Road No. 4738 from 42km to end of maintenance

All overload permits on restricted routes are invalid for the duration of these restrictions. The applicable tolerances provided under 7.26(1) of the regulations pursuant to the Commercial Transport Act shall apply. Violators of the regulations and restrictions will be prosecuted. The public, and trucking and transportation companies should govern themselves accordingly.
