Pursuant to Section 66 of the Transportation Act the following load restrictions will be imposed on the
following Provincial Highways and Roads until further notice:

LOAD RESTRICTIONS within the Kootenay Boundary Service Area (Fruitvale, Trail, Castlegar, Rossland,
Grand Forks, Greenwood, Midway, Rock Creek, Bridesville, Westbridge, Beaverdell, Idabel Lake)

ALL PROVINCIAL NUMBERED ROUTES - UNRESTRICTED

ALL PROVINCIAL SIDE ROADS - 100% Legal Axle Loading
except as listed below:

70% Legal Axle Loading:
1. Christian Valley Road
2. Drakes Road
3. Mount Baldy Road
4. Pass Creek Road
5. Paulson Detour Road
6. Phoenix Road
7. Rock Creek-Bridesville Road
8. Santa Rosa Road (Beyond Dupee Road)

50% Legal Axle Loading:
1. Rossland-Cascade Road

shall apply. Violators of the regulations and restrictions will be prosecuted. The public, and trucking and
transportation companies should govern themselves accordingly.
