Strata Property Act: Along with the Local
Government Act and the Land
Title Act, the Strata
Property Act regulates the development of land.
Storm sewer runoff: A term referring
to the collection and removal of water from the roadway. A minor system
comprises the road gutters, inlets, storm sewers, and minor ditches.
A major system is the route followed by the runoff when the capacity
of the minor system is exceeded, generally including the roadway and
major drainage channels.
Strata subdivision: A development where
fee simple land is divided into multiple units, with all the unit owners
having a right to use common elements. Created under the Strata
Property Act.
Survey plan: The final subdivision plan
prepared by a registered B.C. Land Surveyor.
