Getting There

The day’s events will take place in City Park, Kelowna and at the site of the new William R. Bennett Bridge. Plan ahead. In anticipation of many spectators we suggest you allow extra time to get to your destination. If you plan to drive, leave plenty of time to find parking. Traffic may be redirected around City Park access roads. If you can, carpool with friends and neighbours. Use extra care and watch out for cyclists and pedestrians.

If you plan to cycle, use extra caution due to the increased traffic and road closures. Cyclists should be equipped for night-time riding. Lock your bike or don't leave it unattended. For the safety of others, do not lay your bike on the ground – stand it upright.

For parking, City of Kelowna downtown metered, reserved lots and on-street parking are free on Sundays. The City of Kelowna operates two parkades; Library Plaza Parkade located at1360 Ellis Street and Chapman Parkade located at 345 Lawrence Avenue. The Celebration will draw many spectators and safety is critical to a successful Celebration, so traffic may be diverted. Watch for updated traffic control details.

Overnight Camping is not permitted on any City of Kelowna parking lots.
