Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority Act
Auditor General's Reports
In 2001, the Auditor-General, at the request of the Province, examined issues that had arisen since TransLink was established in 1999. After consulting stakeholders, the Auditor General recommended changes to: (1) the Province's and TransLink's roles and responsibilities; (2) the composition and size of TransLink's board; (3) TransLink's governance policies and practices; and (4) the way in which TransLink, the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD), and the Province carry out their accountability obligations to the public. In 2003, the Auditor-General undertook a follow-up review of recommendations made in the 2001 report.
