Intersection Traffic Counts (TSG system) - More Information

The TSG application allows the ministry to make available information on intersection traffic counts that was previously difficult to present for individual public inquiries. The ministry will continue to load new survey data into this application as it becomes available.
Professional and general users can now zoom into an intersection count site on the map and then receive a report by clicking on the “Survey Info” button at top, and selecting the intersection. These surveys are contained in various document formats such as MS Excel, MS Word and Adobe Acrobat. All surveys are available to both professional and general users. The General interface is designed for simplicity while the professional interface has a greater variety of tools to manage information.
Many of the TSG surveys in this application are intersection counts that identify turning and through traffic volumes during peak hours of the day at different intersections across the province.
