Eagleridge Interchange

The first aerial shot is a high-angle view of the Eagleridge interchange, showing the work underway on at the interchange as well as work on the overland or Eagleridge section of the highway. The second aerial shows the construction of a new bridge structure (foreground) which will carry traffic under Highway 99 to Horseshoe Bay Village and the BC Ferries Terminal. The two new south and north-bound lanes north to Squamish and Whistler will cross on top of this structure, as well as the lanes to Eagleridge Drive exit lane. The second ‘bridge’ structure at the upper centre of the photo is the Eagleridge Drive exit, and will carry north and south-bound lanes over the top.

Ground-level view looking north, of the bridge structure being constructed as part of the Eagleridge Interchange which will carry north and south-bound traffic to and from Whistler or Squamish.

Looking south, these photos show the progress of construction on the roadway which will carry traffic to the BC Ferries Terminal and Horseshoe Bay Village. These shots were taken from the top of the bridge structure shown in the previous photo. The curved assembly on the right is the beginning of construction of the new roadway which will connect the overland section to the existing highway at the Eagleridge Interchange.

This view of work at the Eagleridge interchange shows the various supporting structures that will carry the new highway to the overland route. The cut at Eagleridge Bluffs is located at the upper left of the photo.
