Registration Officers review and investigate all applications for administrative completeness and then make recommendations to the Registrar of Passenger Transportation with respect to the type of licence required. They also advise proponents when additional information is required and close incomplete applications if outstanding requirements are not received within the prescribed timeframes detailed in the Registrar’s Rules of Practice and Procedure.
The Registration Officers also review applications to verify, depending on the type of proposal, whether approval is required by the Passenger Transportation Board and/or the Registrar of Passenger Transportation.
