Commercial passenger vehicles are licensed and regulated in British Columbia under the Passenger Transportation Act (Act) and Passenger Transportation Regulation (Regulation). The Registrar of Passenger Transportation, including the Passenger Transportation Branch staff and the Passenger Transportation Board are separate entities with distinct responsibilities under the Act and Regulation.
