Licensees may appeal an administrative penalty imposed by the Registrar of Passenger Transportation to the Passenger Transportation Board (Board). A Notice of Appeal must be filed not more than 30 days after a licensee receives Notice from the Registrar of Passenger Transportation. The Board prepared the following documents to help licensees understand its appeal process and requirements:

It contains information about the Passenger Transportation Board (Board), the legislated procedures the Board is required to follow and the rules and policies the Board has adopted to fill in the procedural gaps left by the legislation.

A Notice of Appeal - (81 KB PDF) is a 1-page form which is used file a request to appeal an Administrative Penalty.
A Request to Suspend Administrative Penalties - (71 KB PDF) is a 2-page form which is used to request that the Passenger Transportation Board suspend an Administrative Penalty imposed by the Registrar, until the Board makes a decision on an appeal.
