LOAD RESTRICTIONS IN THE STIKINE SERVICE AREA 28 (2019 #5)

Pursuant to Section 66 of the Transportation Act the following load restrictions will be imposed, on the following Provincial Highways and Roads in the Stikine Service area until further notice:

Effective 1:00 AM PDT on TUESDAY, JUNE 11th, 2019
****************************************************************************************

The following Provincial Numbered Route is UNRESTRICTED
**********************************************************
• Cassiar Hwy 37 (from Deltaic Creek to BobQuinn Lk Mtce Yard)

The following Provincial Numbered Route is 100% legal axle loading:
*********************************************************
• Cassiar Hwy 37 (BobQuinn Lk Mtce Yard to Yukon Border)

The following Side Roads are 100% legal axle loading:
********************************************
• Atlin Highway
• Atlin area side roads (not mentioned below)
• Dease Lake Streets
• Glenora Rd
• Telegraph Creek Rd

The following Side Roads are 80% legal axle loading:
********************************************
• Cassiar area side roads
• O’Donnell River Rd (aka Warm Bay Rd)

The following Side Road is 70% legal axle loading:
********************************************
• Ruffner Mine Rd

All overload permits on restricted routes are invalid for the duration of these restrictions. The applicable tolerances provided under 7.26 of the regulations pursuant to the Commercial Transport Act shall apply. Violators of the regulations and restrictions will be prosecuted. The public, and trucking and transportation companies should govern themselves accordingly.

The following Provincial Numbered Route is UNRESTRICTED

• Cassiar Hwy 37 (from Deltaic Creek to Dease Lake)

The following Provincial Numbered Route is 100% legal axle loading:

• Cassiar Hwy 37 (Dease Lake to Yukon Border)

All Side Roads are 100% legal axle loading (except those listed below)
**********************************************************

The following Side Road is 70% legal axle loading:
****************************************
• Ruffner Mine Rd
