BULKLEY STIKINE DISTRICT

LOAD RESTRICTIONS IN THE STIKINE SERVICE AREA 28 (2024 #3)

Pursuant to Section 66 of the Transportation Act the following load restrictions will be imposed on the following Provincial Highways and Roads in the Stikine Service area until further notice:

EFFECTIVE 10:00 AM PDT on THURSDAY, APRIL 11, 2024

The following Provincial Numbered Routes are 100% Legal Axle Loading 24 hrs/day:
-Highway 37 (Deltaic Creek to the Yukon Border)

The following side roads are 100% Legal Axle Loading 24 hrs/day:
-Telegraph Creek Road (Boulder St to Riverview Dr only)
-Dease Lake Streets

The following Side Roads are 70% Legal Axle Loading 24 hrs/day:
-Telegraph Creek Road, (Riverview Drive to Glenora Road)
-Glenora Road
-Old Airport Road (Sawtooth)
-Cassiar Access Rd
-Atlin Highway & all Atlin area side roads

All overload permits on restricted routes are invalid for the duration of these restrictions.
The applicable tolerances provided under 7.26 of the regulations pursuant to the Commercial Transport Act shall apply.
Violators of the regulations and restrictions will be prosecuted.
The public, and trucking and transportation companies should govern themselves accordingly.
