Pursuant to Section 66 of the Transportation Act the following load restrictions will be imposed, on the following Provincial Highways and Roads until further notice:

LOAD RESTRICTIONS within the South Okanagan Service Area - 8
(Osoyoos, Oliver, Keremeos, Princeton, Penticton, Summerland, Peachland, Kelowna, Lake Country)

Provincial Numbered Routes - UNRESTRICTED
No. 97 Highway - From Canada US Border to Crystal Waters Road North (Lake Country)
No. 97C Highway - From Okanagan Hwy 97 (Peachland) to Pennask Summit (District Bdy)
No. 3 Highway - From Sunday Summit to Anarchist Summit
No. 3A Highway - From Keremeos to Kaleden
No. 33 Highway - From Okanagan Hwy 97 (Kelowna) to McCulloch Road (District Bdy)
No. 5A Highway - From Princeton to Gulliford Lake (District Bdy)

Provincial Side Roads - 100% Legal Axle Loading
Kelowna/West Kelowna area - All side roads except those listed at 70%
Osoyoos area - All side roads
Oliver area - All side roads
Keremeos area All side roads except those listed at 70%
Princeton area - All side roads except those listed at 70%
Penticton area - All side roads
Summerland/Peachland area - All side roads except those listed at 70%

Provincial Side Roads - 70% Legal Axle Loading

KELOWNA/WEST KELOWNA AREA:
Big White Road (excluding section between201 west and 201 east)

PRINCETON AREA:
Princeton Summerland Road #40 (Red Creek FSR to Foreman Area Bdy.)

KEREMEOS AREA:
Fairview Road (Lowe Drive to Foreman Area Bdy.)

SUMMERLAND/PEACHLAND AREA:
Princeton -Summerland Road #40 (Summerland Municipal Boundary to Munro Lake Forest Service Road)

All overload permits on restricted routes are invalid for the duration of these restrictions. The applicable tolerances provided under 7.26(1) of the regulations pursuant to the Commercial Transport Act shall apply. Violators of the regulations and restrictions will be prosecuted. The public, and trucking and transportation companies should govern themselves accordingly.
