Pursuant to Section 66 of the Transportation Act, notice is hereby given that load restrictions may be placed, on short notice in the near future, on all Highways in the following Ministry of Transportation and Transit Service Area:

*************************************************

LOAD RESTRICTIONS - RESCINDED

within the South Okanagan Service Area - 08 (Osoyoos, Oliver, Keremeos, Princeton, Penticton, Summerland, Peachland, Kelowna, Lake Country)

All Provincial Highways and Roads within Okanagan Service Area - 08 are unrestricted.

All overload permits on restricted routes are invalid for the duration of these restrictions.
The applicable tolerances provided under 7.06(1) of the regulations pursuant to the Commercial Transport Act shall apply.
Violators of the regulations and restrictions will be prosecuted.
The public, and trucking and transportation companies should govern themselves accordingly.
