Provincial load restrictions are updated as new information becomes available.


Pursuant to Section 66 of the Transportation Act the following load restrictions will be imposed, on the following Provincial Highways and Roads until further notice:

LOAD RESTRICTIONS within the South Okanagan Service Area - 8
(Osoyoos, Oliver, Keremeos, Princeton, Penticton, Summerland, Peachland, Kelowna, Lake Country)


Effective 12:01 pm Pacific Time on Thursday June 14, 2018.


Provincial Numbered Routes - UNRESTRICTED
No. 97 Highway - From Canada US Border to Crystal Waters Road North (Lake Country)
No. 3 Highway - From Sunday Summit to Anarchist Summit
No. 97C Highway - From Okanagan Hwy 97 (Peachland) to Pennask Summit (District Bdy)
No. 33 Highway - From Okanagan Hwy 97 (Kelowna) to McCulloch Road (District Bdy)
No. 3A Highway - From Keremeos to Kaleden
No. 5A Highway - From Princeton to Gulliford Lake (District Bdy)

Provincial Side Roads - UNRESTRICTED
Kelowna/West Kelowna area - All side roads
Osoyoos area - All side roads
Oliver area - All side roads
Keremeos area All side roads
Princeton area - All side roads except those listed at 100% legal axle loading.
Penticton area - All side roads
Summerland/Peachland area - All side roads

Provincial Side Roads - 100% Legal Axle Loading
Princeton-Summerland Road -between Red Creek Forest Service Road (south) and Pinewood Drive (north)
