PUBLIC NOTICE # 7 (Restrictions Rescinded)

Pursuant to Section 66 of the Transportation Act the following load restrictions will be imposed on the following Provincial Highways and Roads until further notice:

LOAD RESTRICTIONS - RESCINDED within the Peace District, Service Area 22, North Peace

Effective 12:01 AM PT on Monday, June 15th, 2026

All Provincial Highways and Side Roads within the North Peace Service Area will be unrestricted with the exception of:  

The following permanent restrictions are in effect year-round.
50% Legal Axle Loading
Old Fort Road 148 from Howe Pit to the Old Fort Loop 616B

Effective May 26th, 2026, The SYD Road from 8km - 188km is 100% legal axle Loading.
