Pursuant to Section 66 of the Transportation Act, the following load restrictions will be imposed, on the following Provincial Highways until further notice
LOAD RESTRICTIONS within the Central Cariboo Service Area SA17

Provincial Numbered Routes - Unrestricted Legal Axle Loading
#97 Cariboo Highway

Provincial Numbered Routes - 100% Legal Axle Loading
#20 Chilcotin-Bella Coola Highway from #1007 Stum Lake Road to #97 Cariboo Highway
#20 Chilcotin-Bella Coola Highway from Government Wharf (start of maintained) to Bottom Gates Heckman Pass

Provincial Numbered Routes - 70% Legal Axle Loading 
#20 Chilcotin-Bella Coola Highway from Bottom Gates Heckman Pass to #1007 Stum Lake Road

Provincial Side Roads - Unrestricted Legal Axle Loading:

#144 Mountain House Road Gravel Portion from #97 Cariboo Highway to Hawkes Creek Bridge

Restrictions will be imposed on select roads, as conditions warrant.  The restrictions may limit vehicles to 100 percent,
70 percent or 50 percent of legal axle loading, as allowed under the regulations pursuant to the Commercial Transportation Act.

All overload permits on restricted routes are invalid for the duration of these restrictions.  
The applicable tolerances provided under 7.26 of the Regulations pursuant to the Commercial Transport Act shall apply.  
Violators of the regulations and restrictions will be prosecuted.  The public, trucking and transportation companies should govern themselves accordingly.
