Pursuant to Section 66 of the Transportation Act the following load restrictions will be imposed on the following Provincial Highways and Roads until further notice:
LOAD RESTRICTIONS within the EAST KOOTENAY Service Area 11

Effective 8:00 am MDT on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

UNRESTRICTED - All Provincial Numbered Routes south of Radium Hot Springs and west of the Alberta border - as listed below:
#3, Crowsnest Highway
#43, Elk Valley Highway
#93, Elko Roosville Highway 
#95A, Kimberley Highway
#95, Kingsgate Yahk Highway
#93/95 Kootenay Columbia Highway

100% Legal Axle Loading - ALL Provincial sideroads, paved or gravel south of Radium Hot Springs and west of the Alberta border except as otherwise listed:

70% Legal Axle Loading - Provincial sideroads, paved or gravel south of Radium Hot Springs and west of the Alberta border as listed below:

#4, Gold Creek Road
#28, Lumberton Road (pass the railway tracks)
#4, Toby Creek Road (west of Panorama) 
#37 Yahk-Meadow Creek Road
#4, Burton Lake Road
#2, Westside Road (south of Invermere to Hwy 93/95) 
#317, LD Ranch Road
#112, Lower Elk Valley Road

All overload permits on restricted routes are invalid for the duration of these restrictions.  
The applicable tolerances provided under 7.26 (1) of the regulations pursuant to the Commercial Transport Act shall apply.  
Violators of the regulations and restrictions will be prosecuted.  
The public, and trucking and transportation companies should govern themselves accordingly.
