PUBLIC NOTICE # 12

LOAD RESTRICTIONS
                                                              

Load Restrictions – Rescinded

Pursuant to Section 66 of the Transportation Act and to provisions of the Commercial Transport Act, notice is hereby given that all load restrictions imposed within the Okanagan-Shuswap Highways District will be rescinded effective 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009.

All term overload permits will be valid.

Appropriate percentages of the tolerance provided in Subsection 7.26 of the Regulations pursuant to the Commercial Transport Act are applicable.  Violators of the regulations and restrictions will be prosecuted.
