The Passenger Transportation Board

The Passenger Transportation Board (the “Board”) approves applications to operate inter-city buses and passenger directed vehicles in British Columbia, and decides appeals on administrative sanctions initiated by the Registrar of Passenger Transportation.
The Board was established June 28, 2004. As Board rules and policies develop, information will be added at this website.

Registrar of Passenger Transportation

The Registrar of Passenger Transportation licences commercial passenger vehicles in British Columbia, and the Registrar enforces provisions of the Passenger Transportation Act and the Passenger Transportation Regulation. These functions include the distribution and receipt of applications for all commercial passenger vehicles, and the handling of complaints about the operation of commercial passenger vehicles.
