CAMERON STREET BRIDGE OFFICIALLY OPENS
August 24, 2009 – Shirley Bond, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, announces the completion and official opening of the new Cameron Street Bridge, in Prince George. The new bridge will help ease congestion, reduce travel time and cut transportation costs for communities and industries. Through the Municipal-Rural Infrastructure Fund, the Province contributed $1 million towards the restoration of the 75-year-old bridge.
