Lions Gate Bridge Named a Historic Engineering Site
July 13 – The Canadian Society for Civil Engineering recognizes the Lions Gate Bridge as a National Historic Civil Engineering Site. Canadian Society for Civil Engineering President Alistair MacKenzie and Transportation Minister Kevin Falcon (L-R) reveal the plaque that is mounted on the south west corner of the Lions Gate Bridge, in Stanley Park.
