Road Access Map
The only road access to Nahatlatch Provincial Park is through Boston Bar and North Bend, 25 km south of the Park. The Cog Harrington Bridge spans the Fraser River between Boston Bar and North Bend. On the west side of the bridge, Chaumox Road crosses Boston Bar First Nation's Kopchitchin Indian reserve No. 2.
Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure proposes to include approximately 1.5 hectares of land from the Park in its offer to Boston Bar First Nation, to acquire land from Boston Bar First Nation's Kopchitchin Indian reserve No. 2 for portions of Chaumox Road.
Conclusion of the negotiations and a federal transfer of reserve lands to the Province will provide certainty of road access to the Park, and demonstrate the Province's ongoing reconciliation with First Nations.
