VIP eForm System Requirements
To use the VIP eForm System you will require:
- A Personal Computer running:
- Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Mac OS X (Operating System)
- Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7, Firefox, or Safari (Web Browser)
- Additional Software
- Adobe Reader to view Draft and Final Vehicle Inspection reports. This free software can be downloaded from the Adobe website.
- An Internet Connection with an upload speed of more than 256KB/sec (preferably not dial-up)
- A BCeID user ID
If you have trouble accessing the VIP eForm System and suspect it may be related to your Personal Computer configuration, please contact the VIP support team at Vehicle.Inspections@gov.bc.ca and include the following:
- Describe the issue.
- Describe what you were doing.
- Describe what you expected to happen.
- Describe whether the issue is repeatable.
- Include screen shots and record the error messages if possible.
- Include details on your Operating System (ie. Windows XP, Windows Vista, Mac OS X, etc.), Browser (Internet Explorer 7.0, Firefox 2.0, etc.), Internet connection (high-speed, dial-up, satellite, wireless, etc.)
