Premier's Awards 2010

The Premiers Awards celebrate the best that the public service has to offer, and 2010 provided an excellent showing from the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.  Six of our submissions were nominated as regional finalists in five different categories:

  • North Beach Slide Team (Cross Government Integration)
  • Sea-to-Sky Highway Improvement Project and Data Room Team (Innovation)
  • Tracy Cooper (Leadership)
  • Beetle Kill to Bio Fuel Team (Partnership)
  • Cariboo Connector Program Delivery Team (Service Excellence)
  • Weigh2GoBC Program Team (Service Excellence)

In addition, Mike Oliver was shortlisted for the Provincial awards in the Legacy category.

For the first time ever, this year’s awards were webcast, allowing everyone the opportunity to celebrate together.
