Highway 97A — Pleasant Valley Cross-Road to Lansdowne Road — Four Laning
Project Scope
- Construct 4.0 km of 4-lane highway with wider shoulders, flush median, and rumble strips to 100 km/h design standards
- Improve intersection geometry, sight lines, left turn bays and deceleration lanes at 5 intersections
- Improve intersection functionality at Smith Road traffic signal by constructing a protect tee intersection and acceleration lane in northbound direction

- Increase intersection capacity by improving left turn bays and deceleration lanes
- Consolidating direct accesses off the highway by providing an interchange.
