Online Permits – System Requirements
To run the Online Permits service you will require a Personal Computer running:
- Windows XP or Windows Vista (Operating System)
- Internet Explorer 6 or Internet Explorer 7 (Web Browser) with cookies and Javascript enabled
- Additional Software
- Adobe Reader version 8.0 or higher is required to view the issued Permit and Permit Receipt. This free software can be downloaded from the Adobe website.
- An Internet Connection with an upload speed of more than 256KB/sec (preferably not dial-up)
*Note: Online Permits may work fully or mostly on other Operating Systems (e.g., Windows 7, Mac OS) and/or Web Browsers (e.g., Internet Explorer 8, Safari, Firefox), but these have not been tested.
In addition to the requirements above, a printer is recommended for printing your permits and receipts.
