Insurance and Bonds
The Insurance and Bonds department provides services and advice to contractors, consultants, insurance agents/brokers and Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure personnel on a wide range of topics, including:
• Risk Management
• Insurance Specifications
• Contract Security Requirements and Wording
• Insurance and Contract Secruity Compliance
• Indemnities and Central Agency Approvals
The Ministry Certificate of Insurance must be completed by authorized representatives of the insurance company. The requirement for the Ministry Certificate of Insurance or Full Policy Documents is laid out in the Insurance Specifications for each contract.

This Certificate of Insurance must be submitted fully completed and without any alteration or change made to the terms and conditions set out in this Certificate. Any alteration or change to the terms and conditions set out in this Certificate will likely render this Certificate null and void and will likely result in the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure rejecting this Certificate.
